Social value, built into how we work
Logit.io is a UK technology business. Whoever buys from us, we want the benefit to go beyond the software: fair work, routes into tech careers, a fair supply chain and a smaller carbon footprint.
At Logit.io, social value is part of how we run our business and deliver our services, including public sector contracts. Our approach is aligned with the UK Government Social Value Model, with a particular focus on breaking down barriers to opportunity. Our CEO is accountable for social value and reviews this statement and our practices at least once a year.

Employment opportunities and inclusive recruitment
We aim to remove barriers that can stop talented people getting into technology.
- We welcome career changers, disabled people, people returning to work, care leavers and prison leavers.
- We avoid unnecessary qualification and experience requirements, and make reasonable adjustments throughout recruitment and employment.
- Remote, flexible working opens roles to people who may not be able to travel or work fixed hours.
- Relevant roles and placements are subject to BPSS and any applicable contract-specific security screening requirements.

Promoting opportunities
- We advertise vacancies through relevant job boards and professional networks.
- We aim to reach people who may face barriers to entering technology careers.

Education, skills and careers
We use our expertise in cloud, cyber security and observability to support learning beyond our own team.
- We offer technical mentoring and careers guidance.
- We offer digital skills sessions.
- Our technical mentoring and digital skills guidance can support educational attainment, industry-recognised qualifications and progression into technology careers.
- Our team can use their paid volunteering hours for this work.

Work experience and placements
We offer practical routes into technology work.
- We offer supervised work-experience days.
- We offer placements, subject to BPSS and any applicable contract-specific security screening requirements.
- We plan to develop apprenticeships in future.

Equality and preventing discrimination
- We follow the Equality Act 2010 and make reasonable adjustments.
- Staff can report concerns confidentially.
- We carry out proportionate workforce diversity monitoring.
- Each year we consider any gender and ethnicity pay differences.
- Our CEO owns our equality approach and reviews it every year.

Supporting SMEs and our supply chain
- We pay suppliers within 30 days.
- We choose suppliers fairly and transparently, under our anti-bribery policy.
- We offer smaller businesses practical guidance on public sector tendering, cyber security, ISO 27001 and contract delivery.

Sustainability and net zero
As a fully remote team, our office and travel footprint is small. We choose efficient suppliers powered by renewable energy wherever we can, and we are working towards net zero.

Measuring and reporting our social value
Our CEO is accountable for our social value.
- We record mentoring hours, education sessions, recruitment outreach, placements, SME guidance and equality reviews.
- We report quarterly on contracts that require it.
- Otherwise, we can report on our social value on request.
