Set up another application language

Choose Other in the dashboard's Applications language selector when your language is not listed. Use that language's OpenTelemetry SDK or official zero-code agent to send application telemetry.

Configure the connection

Create and load the shared environment file. Use your Hosted OpenTelemetry base URL, https://{stackId}-otel.logit.io, and the http/protobuf protocol.

Build authentication from the username and password in the dashboard. If your SDK supports the standard encoded header format, set OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_HEADERS to Authorization=Basic%20 followed by the Base64 token.

If the SDK needs a header map instead, set Authorization to Basic followed by the token, using a real space. Check the language SDK's header parsing before choosing a format.

Initialize your language SDK or agent

Install the SDK and OTLP HTTP exporter packages documented for your language, or install its official zero-code agent. Register the signals that setup supports and connect your application logging and instrumentation.

The Hosted endpoint supports OTLP over HTTP on HTTPS port 443. Use the base URL for an exporter that appends signal paths. If an exporter requires a full signal URL, use /v1/logs, /v1/traces or /v1/metrics for the matching signal.

Keep the configuration in the application's process environment where supported. Selecting exporter variables alone does not install an SDK or agent.

Start the app, generate supported telemetry, then check the result. For application log files, use Send server log files.
